Mh. I don t remember if i implemented comments on pages where i upload code instead of picutures only. I try to keep the animations as small as possible to safe bandwidth for the reader. So i crop a tiny part, animate that and overlay the whole image with that. the big images are usually saved as png-8s, meaning they have a maximum of 256 colors. Even on slightly colorized pages i can get away with that, if i keep the colored areas texturized and disrupted. Usually cuts the size down to a third. This time i cropped around all the places that are not animated, so i don t have to make several gifs with different speech bubbles thanks to the translation. also - i work in 300 percent of the final page. the animation is usually done at 100 percent. Since both are then converted into color-saving protocols, it can happen that the protocols chose different values of grey to keep and an edge is visible. I solve that by really, really finishing the main page, saving it for web and then continue working from that file. I have no idea if anybody ever notices. Actually i do - somebody was kind enough to write me about appreciating this. Made my day!
