huhhuuwhwhwwwwaaayyy am I doing this to myself. This page took so long, i could have finished 3 or 4 in that time. And weirdly, it took way, waaay longer than the giger-like frame on page 18 (or no 22 upload for this chapter. Uploads in the Archive are counted differently than hand assigned page numbers. Sometimes I cut a page up for upload). And I feel the giger like frame looks like much more work. Nope, this one got me. It might be, because there were more colors involved, while page 18 was monochrome. I also used three different inks there, but they were very close in shade just had different properties.
And sure, the blood from one body can fill a room ankle deep.
I feel though, that the whole , ehm, joke that was involved in this chapter somehow lies flat with the way i framed the settings. Jaune tries to make Barberas body disposal as hard as possible by killing a person very expressively and bloodily all over a detailed, intricate weird room. I imagined the room like a alienesque control chamber but there was never a point to draw this without changing the whole tone and keeping the story in focus. In the end, this is just my personal motivation for that chapter, not really the plot points that keep the main story along. They are: B and J actually DO get along and are on the same page. G absolutely does not agree to what serial killers are doing and together they will always be more bloody, more dangerous and more evil than on their own. Except for Barbera. She don t need no reason or company. Well. If she wants to keep somebody living longer than just 15 minutes, she actually does need help. Thats weird about the cast. They re all bad at prolonged torture. Except for L of course. G would be good at that, too. But she usually eliminates threats quickly or her traps do so. She frequently forgets to check life-traps though or sometimes is not sure and locks somebody up.
I promise you though, G will change her mind on pain only for interrogation.
