The Contract 32 / ( 39 )
And this concludes the longest Twisted-Chapter yet: The Contract.
So. Gabriel hid next to the curtain the whole time. Why did she not barbe in, when Barbera put the wire and the pliers to Schroedingers throat? That was a critical moment. To be perfectly honest, I am not 100% sure of how Gabriel was thinking here. While she perceives Schroedinger as glorious angel of goodness, she already has a closer relationship to Barbera and is more interested in keeping this monster in check. While in the end it was not her intention to kill Schroedinger, studying Barbera has a higher priority.
I am sure though, that she would have killed Barbera if Barbera had killed Schroedinger. And Barbera knows this now.
