Commentary Welcome to the next chapter! And oh boy, this cover... this took over three months to finish. Not the drawing itself - that was about 12. But the road to that drawing was very bumpy. I finally had a predrawing finished after many, many, many corrections and printed it out to get on inking it, but i simply couldn t do it. Every time i looked at the print out, i was filled with so much resentment, that I decided after two weeks not to draw it and start completely new.

The pose of the body and the body itself is based on a crime scene photo of one of the victims of the hillside stranglers. In the course of this chapter, a similar duo will be part of the story and for years i ve been mesmerized by this photo. That being said, I do not want to glorify a real murder - so this body was changed and the pose altered.
