Commentary Originally there was no text on this page and only the first and the last two panels planned. But right now Gabriel is so pissed off that she would never stay for long in a room with these two - so it did not make sense for them to already sit at the table.
And yeah, those chairs magically appear when J and B sit down. I did have them in the sketch but it felt so disruptive to the composition - i just left them out. Hurray for continuity. This is a bit stupid because in the next chapter the chairs have a bit more of a meaning and they indicate something. Each inhabitant does have a personally styled chair. Barbera some old, wooden, rusty uncomfortable school chair, Jaune a chair with two crowns and the lady a posh chair with a polstered back. Gabriel now has a piano stool - you know, now obstruction in case one suddenly needs to flee or topple over... Adjustable, possible to hide weapons and traps in the bench...
I should write this stuff down to not change the designs too much from chapter to chapter. Well. I AM writing this down, but i usually get emberassed if i come back to read these comments. For all the spelling mistakes and weird stream of consciousness and sometimes oversharing. Like now.

It will be spelled out on the next page, since I was not sure this comes across. Can you tell, why L is slightly annoyed?
