The Irony of L palavering about people palavering. I think around the clockwork chapter i understood something about dialogue dynamics that i might have gotten carried away with. On a very small scale I try to change the characters minds from where they started within a chapter. Not a 180, but in small scales.
If L would have stared out with: Hey, yo, look at all dem peeps, we gonna kill dem some good, Barbera would have been right there with her from the start. (Because thats barberas standpoint). Well. Hers is always: Maximum entertainment for herself. L has to convince her that maximum entertainment is not the short term decapitation of somebody that irks or B or just crosses Bs path, but that a bit of scheming can lead to much MUCH bigger carnage.
