While inking, this nagging feeling came across me, that we just saw Gabriel taking out a whole bunch of gang people and decapitating and impaling somebody. And she goes with a rock slinger at the mandible bearing twins?
It is not too much in character, especially since shes closer to seeing red than green here. Usually she would get out the big guns for something like this.
But apparently she suffered from knowing what the author knows: If she ran in there brandishing her hammer or a chainsaw crossbow, shed pose a giant threat and might be eliminated.
And dont forget that in her eyes shes not holding a rock slinger, shes probably pulling on a high precision pellet catapult or something.
Still, she can estimate what the imaginary versions of her weapons do.
I feel like i am jk rowling this part here.
It also bothers me, that she actually hits the twins. I had planned on them being diverted by skillfully evading, but that just would draw out - hehe, DRAW OUT - this scene even longer with showing more angles and establishing flight path.
