I ll let you in on a secret. Jaune did not give Mr bruzzle Scissors a kiss on his mouth. Not that the taste would be much different at this point in the story.
As judgemental Jaune is - shes also pretty delusional. She gaslights herself into believing a person she s fallen for is the most beautiful best person that loves her back just as much. Her biggest disappointment always comes when she realizes that the passion is one sided. Not that a person is in fact a smoldering near-corpse or actually evil - nah. she ll adapt to these tiny inconveniences. She also goes a long way to ignore abuse. aaand shes abusive herself. Lets not forget about that. Jaune ceased to be a victim by book 2 of this book.
and theeeeeeeeen again. its not that clear cut. Of course she s still a victim of being objectified and hurt by awful people. But shes not innocent. Her true true self is a very happy, overbearing teenage girl. but that was murdered a long time ago. now, her true self is a desperately upbeat teenager that in truth needs years and years of therapy to not feel pain. who has time for that bother. Shes the highest at risk to die of an overdose and thats with barbera already taking hard drugs if she can steal them.
