The German commentary for the last page alluded to my thoughts on copy pasting half of the background for the computer lab. But more on the computer lab. There was a whole long discussion and scene between the boss of the Gang and the Accountant of moving forward with technology, upgrading their old system. The boss is so traditional, he really likes cash and papery books and so on. The accountant wants to go all digital. But with the right kind of people digital accounting isnt safe enough - theyre working on a system to infiltrate the computer system of the already upgraded rival gang - the Hermanos Cartel. I wanted to emphazise that they re pretty focussed on that other gang and need a personified enemy. Then i realized.. that my main goal is still to finish this comic and cut all of that out. The story relevant point i cut out was that, yes, their assets pretty much are all physical and could, in theory, be stolen. I really wasnt in the mood to target their asset in a boring digital way with cyber warfare of which i have no clue anyway and none of the cast have the abilities to join that fight. Even Gabriel is very distrustful of computers and THE INTERNET. Thats one of the reasons i think this story is hard to take into the next decades. I want to say something with the Ladies mission and think that this is not tied too much to the time theyre in now. But a story that allows internet access would... be over much quicker and need a way less physical team.
